Thomas Wiegandt and his percussion group are playing a wide variety of world percussion music on African drums, xylophones, etc., exciting & magic as well as entertaining. Thomas has performed with many well known drummers from all over the world.

African Drumming Solo Performance
Thomas Wiegandt (dressed in colorful African clothes) is playing a wide variety of drums and percussions and will make you dance to the rhythm of African drums, bass drums, xylophones, ... a lot of fun and entertaining. Ideal for festivals, parties, weddings and other celebrations! Thomas has performed with many well known drummers from all over the world as well as doing solo shows.

The Sunshine Vibrations (African style party music)
Thomas Wiegandt and Ailin Becker are playing happy music with an African feel on electric guitar and African drums. The music is a mix of Highlife, Reggae and Afro-Rock and creates a relaxed and happy atmosphere and is ideal for parties and weddings. Thomas has performed with many well known African musicians.

African Music Performance
Multi-instrumentalist Thomas Wiegandt (dressed in colorful African clothes) will play African style music on various African instruments like different drums, xylophones, bells, shakers, thumb pianos, flutes and string instruments. This vibrant and rhythmic music will give an African flavour to any event. Thomas is sometimes accompanied by another musician.

Dream Waves - ambient world music meditation
Multi-instrumentalist Thomas Wiegandt is playing peaceful ambient music for special occasions on Tibetan singing bowls, Indonesian xylophones and flutes, African lute and guitar, etc. The music creates a gentle musical background, but is also well worth to listen to as a meditative concert. Thomas is sometimes accompanied by another musician.

C.V.
Thomas Wiegandt is a multi-instrumentalist. He has been performing music since 1973 and studied and played with many musicians from West-Africa, Europe and Bali. He teaches and performs African drumming and music improvisation in the Drumming Centre West Cork, Ballybane, Ballydehob, West-Cork as well as in art venues, schools, corporate events and festivals in the local community and the whole of Ireland.
